Ancient Red Wyrm - Player's Handbook

Ancient Red Wyrm attempts several things:

• Taking some inspiration from the relative simplicity of B/X retroclones some friends had been running recently.
• Building on some of the basics I established in Dragon's Teeth, but simplifying even more where possible.
• Switching back to the level 1-20 character advancement of most dungeon crawling RPGs.

Not sure if I've been able to square this circle completely, but time will tell.

Shortly I should also be uploading a grimoire for semi-old-school spells to go with this. Something adapted loosely from B/X retroclones as well. Unfortunately, all the retroclone spell lists I could find still use Open Game Licensing, whereas Ancient Red Wyrm uses Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) licensing. So I need to distribute the two as separate documents.

The O'RLY GUIDE to Basic Spellcraft for Fantasy Settings was intended for use with this project. However, GMs and players should feel free to substitute any list of spells from their preferred OSR/NSR fantasy adventure roleplaying system.
